Cafe Shopfitting for Better Customer and Staff Flow

A cafe layout is tested most severely during the first busy service, not during a quiet viewing. Customers may queue across the entrance, staff may cross in front of the espresso machine, and a delivery trolley may block the only route to storage. Those failures usually come from circulation planning rather than decoration. Before selecting tiles, lighting, or joinery finishes, the design should map customer movement, staff routes, deliveries, waste removal, storage access, and emergency exits. A room can look spacious in an empty photograph yet become awkward as soon as people carry trays, queue with bags, or wait for drinks.
