Well this is where it is very important to get yourself either a degree or someone with one in Childcare Project Manager.
It might seem like just one of those things or careers, but to run a successful and triumphant center, this is the most important person to have in your employment.
They can and will offer:
- LOCATION ADVICE: they will make sure you not only choose the correct location to either build, rent or even purchase property for the childcare center. Many big companies have either built or given part of their unused business areas to be used as a childcare center for their staff to encourage staff loyalty and the Childcare Project Manager CPM is one of the most important employees in this center.
- BUILDING AND GROUND SAFETY: the CPM makes sure that not only is the building and other internal assets used by the children and staff but also the ground safety features a top priority.
- STAFF HIRING AND FIRING: the CPM is the most important person when it comes to employing your staff or even firing them. They do detailed checks on previous employers, police checks for abuse etc. and all this comes out in the interviews and they can easily catch any liars with their contacts of information.
- HEALTH-CARE AND SAFETY: the CPM will make sure all toys, tools, books and even story time areas and playground activity appliances are healthy and safety conscious with children in mind
- DAY TO DAY RUNNING: the CPM will make sure that the day to day running of you facility runs as efficiently as possible and will always make sure anything needed for anyone is supplied even if they have to have the owners permission first, which is a rarity as they have carte blanche in most operations and purchases.
- CHILDCARE PROGRAMS: most if not all programs for the child’s education is investigated and setup by the CPM and makes sure it is done right the first time and all times.
- STAFF EDUCATION: They will make sure any new staff gets the proper training in the centers programs of childcare as well as the health and safety programs
- FINANCIAL ADVICE AND BILLINGS: They will make sure your daily bills and essentials are paid and all financial records kept up to date especially working hand in hand with an accountant.
