The first thing you will learn in any introductory meditation course is establishing a space and creating an environment that will help your mind and body relax and settle. The next step is understanding what type of music to listen to, as this will determine the kind of atmosphere you are creating. You should also consider the purpose of any meditation, whether it is to relax, relieve stress, or prepare for more profound meditation.

Many people who are new to meditation prefer listening to gentle music, such as nature sounds or binaural beats. Some beginners may want to use headphones to meditate at their own pace and in their own house. Others may prefer the full effect of music, as they have been trained to visualize or imagine while sitting still. It depends on the preferred style and effect. The next basic meditation technique instructions will teach students how to sit comfortably and close their eyes.

Most people learn basic meditation techniques by repeating words or phrases, either from a book or with their internal monologue. However, some people will continue to do the method for a few weeks before switching to a more complex one. If you want to do this, then you should look for a program that has a series of short, easy-to-follow meditation techniques. The basic meditation course that you pick should be ones that you can easily follow and remember. This is a very personal type of training, and you don’t want to get into a rigid routine.
