Possibly the number one question people get asked all the time, without fail, is this: “I want to travel more. Where should I go?” Here’s the answer.
The South Pacific Islands (Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu, etc.)
The first pace you need to take if you want to do more traveling is south of your current location. If you live in New York, then your first steps are likely going to be somewhere like Mexico or Jamaica. South of that could be Belize or Guatemala. Maybe even Panama or Costa Rica. Are you only taking one trip? Then Belize is definitely THE place for you! If you have the time to take a week-long trip, then go around Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean islands. In this area, you can see wonderful waterfalls, swimming sea turtles, see Mayan temples from above and snorkel through underwater caves.
Northern Africa (Egypt, Morocco, etc.)
Your second pace should be somewhere in Northern Africa. There are lots of interesting things to do there since North African countries all have a rich culture to experience! Egypt would probably be your best bet because it has the wonders of the world — The Pyramids! You could also go to Morocco, which is a beautiful country filled with many imperial cities like Fez, Marrakech, and Casablanca. Unfortunately, many people think of Africa as a whole and get put off because it’s seen as “dangerous” despite the fact that most of the continent is incredibly safe.
Central America (Costa Rica, Panama etc.)
Your third pace should definitely be Central America. It’s often overlooked by travelers but has some great places to go, like Belize, Costa Rica, and Panama! There are lots of awesome things to see in this region like The Bocas del Toro archipelago in Panama, Tortuguero National Park in Costa Rica (where you can see turtles laying their eggs!), or Copan Mayan ruins in Honduras!
Europe
It’s pretty much impossible to check off all of Europe so if you have a lot of time, perhaps try to see at least three countries for one week each like Portugal, Spain, and France! If not, then make sure you go to Greece as your first step! Then work your way up through Italy (Rome), the United Kingdom (London), and Germany (Berlin).
In conclusion, these are the three Best Places to Travel if you want to travel more! You can go on these trips by yourself or hire a tour agent.
