Snow Parks and fun areas
Part of a memorable holiday is having as much fun as possible on your skis, so to make sure that all guests are catered for, Val Thorens provides improvement or initiation classes in all types of fun areas.
Guests can choose to start with the Fun Slope, a piste which is suitable for an entire family of first-timers and then move on to the Easy Park once they get the hang of things.
Once you’re on the right level, or are simply excited by what is available, you can head for the ultra-creative snow park, where you can watch the professionals snowboarding and freestyle skiing.
Sport Center
If you want to take a break from skiing, then pay a visit to the Val Thorens Ski Resort Sport Center where you can exercise, play a game of squash or enjoy one of the many other sporting activities they have to offer. At almost 80,800 square feet, the center is huge, completely covered and just the place to enjoy being active in a comfortable environment.
Toboggan Slope
The toboggan slope is a fun, memorable experience for the whole family from age 5 and up. It is almost 4 miles long with varying gradients and raised bends that are guaranteed to delight everyone who participates.
The Zip Line
The zip line is a must if you want to get even higher. It is 4265 feet long and for about 1 minute and 45 seconds from start to finish, you get to see some of the most spectacular views of the entire area along the way.
Cime Caron
Take a ride on one of the cable cars, and you will get to see what many describe as the best and most spectacular views of the Alps, unbroken views of Mont Blanc and a breathtaking 360 degree view of the more than 1,000 Alpine peaks in Switzerland, France and Italy.

Whether you’re looking for more thrills or simply want to polish up your winter driving skills, come and learn vehicle control on the snow and ice of this ice track, one of the most iconic spots of Val Thorens. The highest stage of the extremely popular, fantastic and excellent quality ice driving competition, the Trophee Andros, has been hosted at the ice track for the past 20 years.
