Make Fruity Edible Pebbles at home is a lot easier than you might think. All you need is some cereal, fruit, and gelatin to make the “cereal milk” that will make your fruity pebbles! Once you make them, it can be challenging to stop eating them because they taste so good. This article will teach you how to make this tasty treat in different ways using various types of cereal and fruits.
What are the Ways to Make Fruity Edible Pebbles?
- pebbles with honey and grapes
- pebbles with puffed rice cereal and blueberries
- pebbles with fruit loops or any other similar cereal, strawberries, and bananas.
- pebbles by crushing up some Skittles candy into the “cereal milk” you create after boiling your gelatin in it for a couple of minutes. Then pour the crushed candies over your cereal! This tastes like funfetti cake batter if done correctly. You can also use M&Ms instead of Skittles if that’s what you have at home already. Be creative!
- pebbles by using fruit roll-ups and frozen banana slices
- pebbles with gummy bears (don’t use the sugary kind though, only use the sugar-free ones that are flavored sweetened with maltitol or sorbitol)
- pebbles like you would make Oatmeal Cream Pies. Just crush up some gluten-free cookies of your choice (we recommend these chocolate chip vegan treats), mix them in a bowl with organic peanut butter or any other nut/seed butter of your choice, pour over top of gelatin mixture after it has been boiled for two minutes, stir everything together to coat all ingredients with sauce evenly. Then spread out on parchment paper to make even, flat layers. Cut into squares and spoon some of the sauce over the top; let it set in the fridge overnight or until fully hardened.
- pebbles with dried fruit and rice crispy cereal (only use organic brown rice crispies)
- make grape jelly pebbles by replacing peanut butter topping with a layer of all-natural grape jelly that has been boiled for two minutes on the stovetop before spreading onto your gelatin mixture that is already spread out onto parchment paper
- make raspberry jam pebbles by replacing peanut butter topping again with cooked down raspberries instead! Let sit in the fridge overnight, just like you did above.
- pebbles by making plain gelatin and adding some chopped fruit into it. Once the mixture is thoroughly cooled down, pour onto parchment paper that has already been spread out
- pebbles with flavored gelatin by pouring the same amount of all-natural jello flavor packets (found at most grocery stores next to regular ol’ boxes of jello) mixed with hot water over the top of your complete layer of precise molds before placing them in the fridge for four hours or until hard
- pebble stones by stirring fresh cut-up strawberries into unflavored gelatins after they have set overnight. This will create a red color stone, perfect for Valentine’s day!
